Cashew ch*ese sauce just as good as the traditional version and is delicious on pasta, tacos, as a dip and much more.
1 cup oat milk (or any other plant milk)
200g Organic Raw Cashews
1 tsp Dijon mustard
4 tbsp Organic nutritional yeast flakes
2 Garlic cloves
1 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
1/3 tsp Organic turmeric ground
1/2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Salt
Soak cashews for at least 2 hours. You may speed up the process by adding the raw cashews to a pot with water and placing over high heat. Bring to a boil, then immediately turn off the heat. Let the cashews sit for 30-45 minutes in the warm water, then drain. Add all ingredients to a food processor or a blender and mix until completely smooth. Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed.
