They are processed from primary yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) specially grown on fortified beet molasses. The yeast is roller drum dried to form homogenous flakes. As a result, Marigold Engevita Yeast Flakes with B12 are a valuable vegan source of zinc, vitamin B12, and other B-group vitamins and they provide high-quality proteins and natural fibres.
